Never a dull moment at SUSLA – the Jaguar Nation has something for everyone. With everything Southern University at Shreveport has to offer, every student can enjoy enriching experiences through organizations, clubs, and groups – whatever you need, we probably have it. There are more than 30 student organizations representing educational majors, religious groups, some Greek affiliations, and club sports.

And if you like to just hang out, we have places for that too. The Johnny L. Vance Student Union/Activity Center is online slots a “campus living room” for all students.  Also, we have a state of the art Housing Facilities, a Food Court, Bookstore, Student Game Room and much more. Meet and make friends in the Jaguar Nation at SUSLA.

The SUSLA Gymnasium also offers a multitude of choices through fitness activities. Don’t forget SUSLA  Sports – unite and support our SUSLA Women and Men Basketball Team- we are part of the nation’s best sporting conference. The big boys and girls play here.
